Open Hardware with Jon RogersJon is a lecturer at the University of Dundee in
Scotland specialising in neural networks and how
visual perception can be used as a tool within arts
and design practices.
Data Visualization with Jeffrey HayesJeffrey is from Heliophysics Division in NASA’s
Science Mission Directorate. He helped to develop
a number of the data visualization challenges for
Space Apps and is an enthusiast about the
visualization of science data.
Software with CJ HendrixWe connect the Haiti crisis, emergency data and a
NASA astronaut. CJ is the Information Management
Officer for the UN’s Office of Coordination of
Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Geneva, and here
presents a compelling snapshot of a software
challenge to be run from the Lausanne event.
Citizen Science with Rob SimpsonRob is a postdoctoral researcher in citizen science
at Zooniverse in Oxford, involving both research
using the data that comes from the various Zoos,
and the development of existing and new projects.
